How is Christianity to save America?

I always hear from evangelicals that America is dying because it is losing faith in God. If everyone was to suddenly show up to church on Sunday, speak in tongues, fall over and pretend like they fainted when the pastor touches them on the head, or what ever the hell people do in churches these days, how in the world would that make America a better country????
