My best friend and I are flying...?

My best friend and I are 14. We've never flown by ourselves before. We're planning on flying to the UK on Sunday or sometime soon. The closest airport is in Albany, NY. We havn't done much research on how to do anything ourselves. My Aunt was gonna drive us to the airport and all we were gonna have was my dad's credit card, money, and our luggage. We're both excited for our first big adventure to Derby, England. But we need help on where to go and what to do. Thanks!
