New puppy and Newly pregnant?

Hi i am around 6weeks pregnant and we had been promising our 3year old a puppy so yesterday we finally went and picked up her puppy she is a small chi puppy. she is very adorable. anyway i was wondering i know that cat poop is bad to handle while pregnant. but what about dog poop? i mean she is only 7weeks old and not yet potty broke so she has made potty in the house but my husband cleaned up for me because i was worried about it...any advice would be great :) btw we named her gypsy lol
