How can i get honorable discharge from the army?

i am a single mom of 2 children and have been AR for 2 yrs. I put my packet together for a chapter for family care plan 2 weeks ago and it was denied and now they just hit me with a chapter packet for 14-12A and didnt even tell me about it. they made me think i was working on a physical and not my chapter physical. i have to get out on honorable discharge but i want out of the army and i dont know if i should fight their chapter packet and try to continue with mine or what. my BN Commander is leaving and he is the one who declined my chpater packet before for family care plan and since he is leaving in a few weeks i think this is why they are trying to get me out on something else. please help
