As far as the bloated bureaucracy that run education I agree with him in that it works very poorly. Education doesn't need any more money thrown at it, no time in history have we thrown more money at education with such bad results. Education and other social things would run better if run at a local level. the least amount of hands the money goes through the higher the chances are it will reach where it was inteded to go the kids! Unfortunatley we do need a strong military. Maybe I am stubbron I will always believe in lower taxes less government intrusion into my life and a strong military. The way government works today if it were in charge of the Sahara desert it would run out of sand in 5 years. We've created a monster through our ignorance and apathy. We let them give themselves generous raises every year lol. It is certainly a case of the tail wagging the dog. I like some of what Mr. Paul has to say and his voting record backs up his words. But he won't get the nomination on ideals it's all about the money.
