Tightening... contractions??? please help...?

since yesterday morning.. my stomach gets very VERY hard... and its hard to move.. at first i thought they were braxton contractions but soi laid down walked around & drank water but they wouldn't go awy.. the thing is if they are real contractions arent they supposed to be very painful... cuz my stomach gets all tense but its not that painfull... im 39 weeks and ready to have this baby.. could they be some sort of warm up for labor...lol do u think labor is almost here???? thanks for any help...
