Why Do People Hate U2?

I like U2s music plenty, but Bono has become completely TOO involved with politics and saving the world. Yes, it's great if you want to help people and have the money to do so, but being so preachy about what you're doing just makes you annoying to the point that how much you've done can be overlooked.
